Mozilla Thunderbird e-mail client set up  
 
  This document will guide you through the process of adding your .tel email account(s) to Mozilla Thunderbird.
  • To get started, open Thunderbird and then click on "Account Settings..." in the Tools menu.  

  • Once in the Account Settings window, click on the "Add Account..." button as indicated in the screenshot above.  

  • We are now in the "New Account Wizard". In order to proceed select the "Email account" option then click "Next".  

  • Enter your name and email address in the appropriate fields. Replace "John Smith" with your own name, and john@yourdomain.tel with the .tel email address you have created. When finished click "Next".  

  • On the Server Information window, simply type in "mail.webnames.ca" for both the Incoming and Outgoing server. When finished, click on "Next".  

  • This is the Username window; this is where you must enter your username. The username is always the full email address. Simply replace "john" with the username you created and "yourdomain.tel" with your actual .tel domain name. When finished click "Next".  

  • Congratulations, you have successfully configured your .tel email account. Take a moment to go over the information you’ve entered once more. If it is all correct, go ahead and click "Finish", and you are done!
