This guide is intended to help you setup Webnames.ca hosted emails on your new domain name. The guide assumes that email services have been purchased, and that email addresses have been created in the email administration interface.
To setup your Outlook 2007 e-mail client to work with your e-mail account
please follow the steps below:

Start Outlook 2007 and select "Account Settings..." from the Tools menu.

Click on the "New" button, which is indicated in the screenshot below.

Put a checkmark in the box labeled: "Manually configure server settings or additional server types". Then click "Next".

Select "Internet Email" and then click on "Next".
|
|

Fill out the form as shown in the screenshot below, but replace "John Smith" and "john" with your name, and yourdomain.ca with your domain name. Whfinisheden , click on the "More Settings" button.

On the More Settings window, click on the "Outgoing Server" tab, and then put a check mark in the box labeled: "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication". Then select the "Use same settings as my incoming mail server". When finished, click on "OK" to go back to the previous window.

Now that we are back at the "add new mail account window" simply click on "test account settings". If all of the information was correctly entered, you should pass all of the tests. Once the testing is completed click on the "Next" button.

Click the "Finish" button to complete the setup process.
