Opera e-mail client set up  
 
  To setup your Opera e-mail client to work with your e-mail accounts please follow the steps below:
  • Start Opera and select "Mail and Chat Accounts..." from the Tools menu.  

  • Click the "Yes" button in window that pops up.  

  • Select "Email" from the list, and then click Next.  

  • Enter your name and email address in the listed fields, make sure to replace "yourdomain.ca" with your actual domain name. The "Company" field is optional. Then click "Next".  

  • Enter in your username and password; remember to replace yourdomain.ca with your actual domain. You can select either POP or IMAP, as both protocols are supported by our email servers, then click "Next".  

  • Enter your Incoming and Outgoing email servers, use the screenshot below as a guide, making sure to replace yourdomain.ca with your actual domain name. Click the "Finish" button to complete the setup process.  

  • You should be returned to the following screen with your mail account in the list of mail accounts. Select your email address from the list, and then click the "Edit" button.  

  • On the properties screen, click on the "Servers" tab and put in your password for both the Incoming and Outgoing server, and then click OK.  

  • And that’s it! Your Opera browser is now configured to retrieve and send from your Webnames.ca hosted emails.
